I had the pleasure of riding in the Grampy bus to school a couple of times recently. Overall excellent experience, however my seatbelt presented some technical difficulties. While he struggled initially with locking my belt, he showed great perseverance and overcame this challenge with grace. Spacious accommodations.   Definitely recommend. Five glorious stars!

Even when sometimes on the grampy bus, other drivers are driving crazy and not noticing that you're about to crash, Grampy stays cool and calmly swerves away from them. And one time, when he lost the parking ticket at the museum, even though Grampy was still angry and stressed, he managed to not say any bad words (like grownups sometimes do). Overall it was really impressive that we got out of the parking garage and I'm happy Grampy kept the receipt!

The Grampy Bus, the foremost grandfather bus service, picked up not only his grandson, but also his grandson's friend. For no extra charge, he took this unknown individual and his grandson to Triangle Rock Club (Durham, NC). On pickup, he shared a most memorable quote with both grandson and friend stating: "I'm a travel logistics master." And boy he was right. Grampy had predicted a traffic jam and chosen an alternate route on the fly from his carefully maintained portfolio. Along with the correctness of the phrase, it stuck in the memory of the grandson's associate, prompting conversation in the future.

You'd think a bus driver might only be good for one type of service. Not Grampy! He's good at a lot of things. Here are some examples: strawberry picking (he knows how to find the best ones!), playing chess, always being fun and not saying bad words, and getting people to places they want to go on time. He even does it with a smile on his face and always tells a bunch of jokes. I love it when Grampy tells stories in the car and sometimes even makes a little bit of it up. But then sort of sneaks it in like it actually happened. Specifically, when he tells funny ones like the time when my dad fell in the very cold lake ("I'm looking at you Grampy!")

If you need someone to not only get you to your swim meet, but also time your races while your face is in the pool, Grampy is your driver of choice. As a parent, sometimes things can just be falling apart. It's hard to be at all the things, and a kid's commitment isn't always on the calendar. It really helps to know you have someone you can call. I know that I can count on the Grampy Bus. He'll arrive early and the kids will be on time. That's better than I could have done!

What a service!!! Never in my life has someone provided transport, counseling, and moral support for a treacherous DMV appoinment. The bus driver was calm the entire time! Even when he had an extreme case of Exposure he was chipper and flexible.
